Your state of mind matters the most

Hello everyone, I couldn’t help it, I had to write things down, cause words wouldn’t stop popping out of my mind. I got inspired and that’s what happens when I get inspired, I am a bit overwelmed and excited and enchanted! And today I made this promise to myself `”This is my vision and I’m  gonna go for it, doing it my way”. There is no going back. It doesn’t matter who says no or disapproves, that means nothing. There is nothing more powerfull than the spirk inside of you. Have you ever noticed that after you get to the bottom next morning you feel stronger and get back to your feet? That’s the rainbow that comes after the storm. You are the power and your state of mind defines what’s coming next. I don’t know all the ways I’m gonna get there but I know that I have a clue, a tiny one but still a clue of what I want plus I know what I don’t want. This is all I need to start with. Bad, rainny days are always there but I keep my eyes on the rainbow, I look up and  see what’s waiting for me behind the mountais and I’m gonna reach it.

5 health benefits of houseplants❃

Okay my darlings, who of you “pet” a plant or more? Me too! There’s nothing more adorable than having houseplants and flowers all over the home. For now I only have my little plant at the new house. Allhough I tried I still haven’t managed to find a flower shop in the new neighborhood  but I’m seriously going to do it asap. The other day I got inspired by pinterest and some beautiful flower pictures I found there, so I made a little research on the net and here’s the 5  benefits of houseplants.

  • They give an assist in breathing. Inhaling brings oxygen into the body, exhaling releases carbon dioxide. During photosynthesis, plants do the opposite, of sorts: They absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen, making plants and people great partners when it comes to gasses. Plants help to increase oxygen levels and our bodies are happy.
  •  They help you work better …Yep they dooo. A number of studies with both students and workers reveals that studying or working in the presence of plants can have a pretty dramatic effect. As with simply being in nature, being around plants improves concentration, memory and productivity. Being “under the influence of plants” can increase memory retention up to 20 percent, according to a University of Michigan study.
  • Plants help lower background noise. Plants have long been used to reduce noise from busy roads. More recently, research has shown another benefit: interior plants can help to reduce background noise levels inside buildings, too.
  • Boost your mood and make you happy happy happy. Plants can also teach us a thing or two about empathy. According to Texas Agriculture & Medicine University, people who spend their time caring for nature are more likely to care for others. Caring for plants can help you increase compassion and improve your relationships.
  • Okay the last one is based on my experience and not some research but a good reason for having houseplants would definatelly be inspiration! Get inspired by the miracle of life and enjoy witnessing the beauty of nature everyday! Especially if you live in a no green city, this little indoors garden could cheer you up and make you a little happier!

11 things your teenage self didn’t (won’t) tell you about your body

Remember that age between middle school to high school that everything was soooo dramatic and your body was not the best place to live in?  With all these hormones and insecurity life seams to suck and no one can understand you right? Teenagers  believe their life is a drama because at that point  and that age it really feels like that. We’ve all been there before or some of you still get through it. But today I’d like to talk about body harm aaand mention the 11 things our teenage self didn’t tell us  about our bodies.

 

1) Your body shape is not “ugly” or “unsepely” or “fat” or “skinny” or anything else. Your body shape is just bones all put together that help you to stand tall, move your hands and legs and live your life.

 

2) The key is a balanced diet and NOT a starving diet! Your tummy needs some healthy nutritions in order to keep you going and growing into the healthy and beautiful human being you’re supposed to be.

 

3) If you skip meals and starve yourself in order to lose these 5 pounds for Summer, once you start eat normally again you’re most likely to gain the pounds back asap! Find balance.

 

4) Exercise! Wanna have a strong, flexible, healthy body with as little cellulite as possible?  (we alllllll have some, ok? We all do!) Exercise. Find the type of exercise that works for you best and beat it. There are soooo many options out there. You just have to make sure that the exercises you’re doing are been done in the proper way so you don’t harm yourself accidentally.

 

5) You don’t have to prove anything to aaaaanybody! Magazines, role models, forget about that shit and all the presure they try to put on your soulders. You don’t have to look like anybody or follow anyone’s diet or workout routine. This is a big fat lie that  only gonna make you miserable and unsatisfied. Don’t buy that sh**.

 

6) What you do to your body now is gonna be remembered by it. I guarantee that. Bad exercise? Tell about it to my bad knee. Bad diet? Say hi to your future unbalanced metabolism. (what goes around comes back around).

 

7)  If you start focusing on how to develop your body and live a healthy lifestyle now you gonna save a lot of time and effort to your future self.

 

8) The mirror can be a liar. If you look yourself at the mirror and you don’t like what you see, then you’re doing it wrong. It all starts with the mind. What you see in the mirror is the reflection of how you see yourself. If all you see is the pimples and not the great smile then, shame on you guys! C’mon. You are beautiful. I know how it feels, because even as a grown up I can feel the same way from time to time. But then I LAUGH at myself for being so silly. I don’t have to be beautiful like her, I can be beautiful like me!

 

9) Work with what you have, instead of wishing you could change your looks.  Please keep in mind that diet will exhaust you, but exercise will make  you a badass!!!

 

10) One day this trend will go away, like any other! So take these clothes  off, if you don’t like them and wear whatever you feel confortable with.

 

11) Fake it till you make it! If you are not confident yet, act like you are, till you get there.

Goooood morning everybody! Yesterday was one of those days that my energy was very low, I was feeling exhausted and sleepy, very very sleepy….and what I need days like this (apart from sleep) is some positive vibes to boost my energy and get me back on track. When I think of goals, life comes to my mind: Strong relationships // love // healthy lifestyle // adventures // dreams come true! Yup that’s my goals.  So I might not do my dream job at the moment or haven’t travelled to the places I’ve always wanted yet but I’m lucky for all the rest and I’m sure that hard work will get me there eventually.  “Happines is homemade & it takes patience, love and effort, I know each of us can get there and make some magic, achieving  dreams! What’s in Season? Fall Friuts&Veggies

I am more than excited that fall is hereee. It’s finally time for cozy sweaters, hot chocolate, movies in the couch and a lot of Fall recipes, warm and served in a bowl, yum! I’ll be honest, I grew up in a house that cooking seasonally was not a priority and I never realized it’s value untill a few years ago, that I got into cooking. But it’s really important to cook seasonaly, in order to avoid  pesticides as much as possible. So here’s the list of the lovely veggies and fruits that are in Season….(So excited to cook aaall of them)🍁
